Today I'm featuring an award winning project by Maxa Design, a building company that specialises in innovative, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable homes. You may recognise this home if you're a reader of Inside Out Magazine as it was featured back in their August 2014 issue. I loved this house when I read about it back then and it's been on my list to look up some more photos and information about it for a while now.
Luckily after a bit of hunting around I was able to find some great images to share with you on Maxa Design's Pinterest page. Here you can find images of not only this amazing home, but others from their portfolio of work as well.
This house also happens to be the family home of owners of Maxa Design, Sven and Dawn, which is probably why it is such a great success. It has won a number of sustainable housing and design awards, which is a credit to the passion and commitment that Maxa Design show to sustainable design and development.
I spy lots of my favourites in this home - Muuto wall dots (I LOVE LOVE them in yellow), Eames DSW chairs, a yellow butterfly chair and tolix stools at the kitchen bench - to name a few. Lots of great inspo and ideas to steal here!
Have a great day!
