The 5 steps to my one person multi-7 figure business

Here are the 5 steps I’ve taken over the past 10 years to build my business to where it is today.

1: Started creating free content around a topic I loved (interior design).

In return I started to build a online community.

2: Started helping clients 1:1 for free.

In return I got experience, testimonials and images for my website.

3: Started helping clients 1:1 as a paid service (e.g. home renovations/design projects).

In return I started to make money :)

4: Packaged how I was helping my clients into online products (SketchUp and business courses and templates).

In return I started to scale my business so it relied less on my time and made money while I slept.

5: Continued to create new online products to help solve problems I was identifying within my community.

This is how my business continues to grow each year.

But it all started with:

  • passion for a topic

  • lots of free content

  • very little over thinking

  • no expectation for what might happen next

The lesson of this post is to just get started and stop overthinking every step (or where everything might end up).

If you’ve got an idea, passion or dream you want to go after, just start taking the first small action towards it and start building your online community.

You never know where you might be in 1, 5 or 10 years from now.

Thanks for reading and catch you in my next post :)
