Find better design clients and make more money

It IS possible to make a good living running a design business but you have to get your business model right.

In my opinion, the best business models have a mix of the following

Think about your current business model and ask yourself:

  • Does what you do excite you?

    • do you LOVE what you do and can't wait to get up each morning to work on it?

  • Is it something that is needed in the market?

    • do other people love what you do and need this in their life? Are you actually good at what you do? (be honest!)

  • Does it make money?

    • can the clients you're trying to attract actually pay??? (e.g. clients on a tight budget aren't normally a great dream client if you want to make money!)

  • Do people get results?

    • do you make your clients' life easier or better in some way?

  • Is it scalable and easy to deliver?

    • if I handed you 5 new clients today, do you have the systems and processes in place to you cope with this new workload?

The best model is one that feels effortless to deliver (you love it!) AND makes you money (your clients can afford to pay!).

This is your fastest path to more revenue.
