In 2014 I walked away from a corporate career (and a PhD in business) to start a design studio from my dining table.
I had the creative skills I needed, but no idea how to run a studio profitably. I undercharged, took on the wrong clients and worked like crazy for almost no money.
Instead of quitting, I used my business background to build systems, processes and tools that made my studio run like a real business. Clients were happier, projects flowed and my studio was profitable.
That’s when other designers started asking how I was doing it.
Answering those questions slowly transformed my design studio into something bigger...The Little Design Corner.
Today TLDC is an education business that’s helped tens of thousands of designers with courses, templates and systems to run profitable studios of their own.
